This was an interesting build of a large garage and family games room. The brief for the lighting was to have the down lights as the normal lighting with the globe lights for party time. There was also a kitchen, shower room, wine store and lots of space inside and out.
These were some troublesome garden lights that were tripping the house. We eventually narrowed the problem down to water ingress into the lights. This meant the lights needed to be replaced which required some digging to find the junction boxes. All was put right with gel put in the junction boxes and buried again and …

Over this past year I’ve kept myself busy constructing an office for myself and a studio for my wife at the bottom of the garden.
It’s always good to get to the end of a project and see the final product. After the initial planning then the months of hard work. Second fix is completed and everything is up and running.
A conference centre we work for have recently started displaying local artists work in their link corridor so it required some additional lighting.

Basement Lights This is one we did some time ago but I had chance to visit last week. It was part of a partial rewire/remodel of an old rectory. Down here we also put a second consumer unit for the heating, pumping equipment and some of the garden lighting.
A couple of days work this week to install a chandelier in a kitchen where there was cable lighting and all supplies to them were in the walls. So with some carefully positioned holes we were able to run a cable to the ceiling and find a joist to hang it from. It was a …
LAMP POST IN THE GARDEN Today was a good day to do some garden lighting. The challenge was to get the power to the centre of the lawn and make a firm level base for the lamp post to stand on but we got there in the end.
